Who these terms apply to
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of and access to the Online Program offered by Lang & Company Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing the program, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms in full. We recommend that you keep a copy of these terms for your records. At checkout, you will be asked to confirm that you agree to these Terms and Conditions before completing your purchase.
About the program
The program is designed for executives and senior leaders in career transition. It consists of several hours of video content and a collection of Success Sheets and Checklists, all delivered through the Kajabi platform.
Upon purchase, you will receive immediate access to the video content and downloadable materials. As part of your access, you may also attend monthly group Q&A Zoom calls during the program period, subject to the terms set out below.
Access and duration
Access to the program is granted for twelve months from the date of purchase. At the end of this period, access will expire and will not be automatically renewed. No extension of access will be granted after the twelve‑month period ends. We are not required to remind you when your twelve‑month access period is about to end. You are responsible for keeping track of your access period and when it expires.
Within this twelve‑month window, you may view the video content and access the Success Sheets and Checklists at any time, and you may attend the monthly Q&A calls as they are scheduled.
Personal use and credentials
Your access to the program is strictly for personal use and is non‑transferable. You may not share your login credentials with any other person. If we reasonably believe your login information has been shared or misused, we may suspend or terminate your access to the program without refund. We will try to notify you by email before terminating your access, where practicable. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Intellectual property
All program content, including videos, Success Sheets, Checklists, frameworks, and all other materials, is the intellectual property of Lang & Company Limited and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
You may:
• View the program content and download the Success Sheets and Checklists for your own personal, non‑commercial use.
• Take notes and use the materials to guide your own career transition and professional development.
You may not:
• Reproduce, distribute, share, screenshot, record, or otherwise make public any program content.
• Use program content for any commercial purpose or to develop a competing program, course, or service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying methodology or structure beyond what is necessary for your own personal use.
Any frameworks or tools you create inspired by the program remain your own work, but the underlying program structures, methods, and materials remain our intellectual property.
Monthly Q&A calls
Monthly group Q&A Zoom calls are included in your program access for the duration of your twelve‑month period. These calls are provided on a best‑efforts basis and are for informational and discussion purposes only; they do not constitute personal or legal advice or a guarantee of specific outcomes.
You understand that:
• Attendance at any single call is optional and not essential to your ability to benefit from the program.
• You may miss calls for any reason; this does not entitle you to a refund or compensation.
• We are not required to provide individual explanations, make‑up sessions, or alternative formats for missed calls.
In the event that a call must be canceled, rescheduled, or moved due to illness, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the call or provide alternatives where feasible and to communicate any changes in advance. Calls are not recorded in order to protect the privacy of all participants.
Regarding participant information in the calls:
• Other participants may see your name and any information you choose to share during the call.
• We recommend that you adjust your Zoom display name and any virtual background to a neutral format to protect your privacy and confidentiality.
• We cannot prevent other participants from recognizing that you are engaged in a career transition or from drawing conclusions based on what they observe or hear.
• You participate in the calls at your own risk and must consider your own professional circumstances and privacy preferences before attending. None of this can be held against us.
No refunds
Refunds are not available after access has been granted, except where required by applicable consumer‑protection laws. Please review all program information carefully before purchasing, including the details on our website and in the program description. In rare cases, we may, at our discretion, offer a goodwill refund or partial discount, but you should not assume any refund will be provided.
You acknowledge that you are purchasing the program with immediate access to the video content and downloads, and with the option to attend the monthly Q&A Zoom calls over twelve months.
EU clients - waiver of withdrawal right
If you are based in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within fourteen days under the Consumer Rights Directive. By completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to the program, you expressly waive this right in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.
Before purchase, you will be required to:
• See a clear explanation that you are waiving your fourteen‑day right of withdrawal.
• Check a separate box confirming that you understand and agree to this waiver.
Access is granted immediately upon purchase, and you will be able to view core program content as soon as your account is created. This waiver is effective only after you have actively checked the box and requested access.
If you are based in California, you may have additional rights under consumer‑protection or privacy laws. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Technical access
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the program is accessible at all times through the Kajabi platform. In the event of technical issues on our side that prevent access, we will work to resolve them promptly.
We are not liable for:
• Temporary interruptions to access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to platform outages, internet disruptions, or force majeure events.
• Access problems caused by your own device, internet connection, or software settings.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lang & Company Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to access the program.
The program is provided for educational and inspirational purposes only and does not guarantee any specific career outcome, job placement, salary increase, or other professional result.
If you are based in the European Union or in California, you may have additional rights under consumer‑protection or privacy laws. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
If you are a consumer based in the European Union or in another jurisdiction, you may still have rights under the consumer‑protection laws of your country that cannot be limited by these terms.
Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the program after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
